Pilot Program to Build Dwellings for Roma Ethnics

Minister of Development, Public Works and Housing assigns funds to implement a pilot program targeting the construction of social dwellings for Roma ethnics, minister of Development, Public Works and Housing, or MDLPL, László Borbély said in a statement.
The pilot program will cover all the eight development regions in Romania, the existent locations being subsequently settled. It will be envisaged the correlation of the programs already existent and under-development through the Housing Ministry or through the National Agency for Roma Ethnics or the Romanian Fund for Social Development.
László Borbély and the secretary of state with MDLPL Anna Horváth met the president of the National Agency for Roma Ethnics Gruia Ioan Bumbu to settle new actions to be taken in the housing field within the Government of Romania’s Strategy on improving the ethnic Roma status.
