“All ways lead to Roma ethnics”

Cultural Association “Ghi Romano” in partnership with Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs as well as the Civic Alliance of Roma Ethnics in Romania organized Tuesday, January 15; the round-table called “All ways lead to Roma ethnics” – Strategies on managing the communication crisis. The debates during the round table targeted the role of the non-governmental and political organizations of Roma ethnics, as well as the role of the institutions of Roma ethnics, or ANR, and of the local and central public authorities in implementing policies of Roma ethnics.
The second part of the meeting targeted the launching of the European Committee for Roma Ethnics Krisinitori, or CERK, gathering over 500 traditional Roma ethnics countrywide. Krisinitori, whom the Roma ethnics communities describe as judges, meet to analyze the custom law terms and to contribute at the improvement of the ethnic Roma status.
This event was organized within the project “European Caravan Ghi Romano,” financed by Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs and by Open Society Institute – RPP and implemented by the Cultural Association “Ghi Romano.”
